I am SO excited to share these beautiful photos from Lauren’s Bridal Portraits in Wallace, North Carolina. These are the most sentimental bridal portraits that I have ever photographed and I just had to share them. Lauren was originally supposed to marry Ethan next month, but we ended up moving their wedding up just a bit! Along with some other life changes, Lauren’s Papa wasn’t doing well & we hoped that by moving the date up, he would be able to attend. Papa meant the absolute world to Lauren & was also scheduled to attend this bridal session with her.
The day before the bridal session, I got the devastating news that Papa had passed that morning. My heart absolutely shattered for Lauren. She is one of the strongest people I know because we still met, took her bridal portraits & instead of including Papa physically, we paid tribute to his memory. Some of my favorite pictures from this session are taken in his car!
I know that even though Papa wasn’t physically with us, he was there, smiling down on Lauren. Just wait until you see the light, that is proof alone! Lauren you are a beautiful soul, inside and out..I know your Papa is a proud man watching you from the greatest view, up above!
